About Pula/Banjole
Banjole is a village of about 960 people in the municipality of Medulin, in southern Istria, on an area of roughly five square kilometres. Medulin is known for its camping sites and coastline, and its population climbs past 10,000 in July and August. Our homes are scattered around Pula and Banjole rather than packed into one village, so check each map pin. Many sleep five or more and a quarter sleep eight or more, which makes this a stronger area for groups than for couples. Most are air-conditioned and about half have a garden. Pula's Arena still hosts summer film festivals, and Kamenjak, a small protected peninsula by Premantura at the southern tip of Istria, has several coves and beaches.
