Villas in Leukerbad
Leukerbad suits couples and small families who want thermal pools, the Gemmi cable car and a small ski area on Torrent. Homes are mostly one-bedroom apartments for four or fewer. The trade-off is the distance: the nearest airport, Sion, is a little over an hour by public transport, and the slopes are modest.

About Leukerbad
Leukerbad is a village of around thirteen hundred people at 1,411 metres, in a secluded valley reached by a road up from Leuk. About 3.9 million litres of thermal water flow from the springs and feed 22 pools, and Swiss tourism calls it the largest thermal spa resort in the Alps. The homes are tightly clustered, mostly one-bedroom apartments sleeping four, with no private pools and few gardens. Torrent offers about 50 km of runs, and the Gemmi cable car runs from the village in summer and winter. German is the first language for most residents, and the French name is Loèche-les-Bains.
