About Sisikon
Sisikon is a municipality of about 380 people on the Urnersee, the first part of Lake Lucerne, at roughly 450 m. It lies about halfway along the Axenstrasse, the 11.4 km stretch of road built along the cliffs between Brunnen and Flüelen, and the Gotthard railway stops here too. Tell's Chapel, at Sisikon, is one of the sights on the Swiss Path. The homes stand together in one spot, many sleeping eight or more, and gardens and air conditioning are the norm. Boats call too, since the station connects with ferries on the lake.
