Pittulongu is one of the frazioni of Olbia, on the coast near the city and reached from the SP 82. Its main beach, La Playa, is a long half-moon of very fine white sand with some small shells at the water's edge, and the sea stays shallow, which is why families like it. Lo Squalo sits just beyond a small rocky strip, with Il Pellicano and Mare e Rocce close by and Bados further north. The bars and restaurants above the beach look out to the island of Tavolara. The homes are spread across the area rather than in one spot. Evenings mean those same bars, or the drive back into Olbia.
