About Bad Kissingen
Bad Kissingen has about 23,000 residents and sits at 220 metres, just south of the Rhön hills. The centre is a spa garden ringed by an arcade built between 1838 and 1913, with the Regentenbau concert hall, opened in 1913, close by. Seven mineral springs are still in use. Bismarck came repeatedly, and his former house is now a museum. The classical Kissinger Sommer festival is a highlight of the cultural calendar. The homes here are compact, most with a garden and a few with a sauna, and they sit close to town. There is no lake or sea, so the town's life is baths, concerts and walks.
