About Umag/Juricani
Juricani is a village of around 400 people that is administratively part of Umag, Croatia's westernmost town. Our homes sit in the countryside around the village rather than on the waterfront. Umag itself is a small port with an old town, a marina and ten listed beaches, and it hosts the Croatia Open, a clay-court ATP tennis event, every year. Savudrija, about 9 km from the centre of Umag, has the oldest active lighthouse on the Adriatic and a beach right beside it. Most homes here are modest, for around four to six people, nearly two thirds with a garden and some with a pool or sauna. Evenings in the village are quiet, and for restaurants you drive into Umag.
