About Campitello
Campitello is a historic Alpine resort and the first tourist centre in the Val di Fassa, lying beneath Col Rodella and the Sassolungo. A cableway leaves from the village, and lifts from the Col Rodella area lead toward the Sella Pass and Val Gardena, joining the Sellaronda circuit within a few minutes. At Ischia, at the entrance to the village, there is an outdoor kinderpark and a kinderland for beginners and children, plus a ski school. Our homes are packed into the village and its immediate surroundings, mostly with wifi but few with a garden. In summer the same lifts serve walks toward the Sassolungo group, Sasso Piatto and the Sciliar plateau, and paragliders use the landing fields. Check lift opening dates before any visit outside the main seasons.
Is Campitello right for you?
- Best for
- Skiers and summer walkers wanting lifts straight from the village
- Not for you if
- You want a private pool, a sauna or a large garden, as homes here have almost none.

Yes: Ischia, at the entrance to the village, has an outdoor kinderpark and a kinderland, and the area has a ski school and ski kindergarten. Equipment rental is also available.
How do you reach the Sella Ronda from Campitello?
Take the cableway from the village to the Col Rodella area. From there lifts and slopes run toward the Sella Pass and Val Gardena and connect with the Sellaronda circuit within a few minutes.

Yes, if you like walking or climbing. The cable car gives access to trails toward the Sassolungo group, Sasso Piatto and the Sciliar plateau, and the Ischia sports centre has rock climbing.
