About Odder
Odder is a town of around twelve thousand people on Jutland's east coast, just south of Aarhus, and the centre of a municipality that also includes the islands of Alrø and Tunø. Rosengade is a pedestrian street of shops and restaurants, and Odder Museum sits centrally beside the old water and steam mill. The coast is the draw: Saksild, 6 km east, is known for its white sand beach with shallow, clear water, which runs 8 km south to the ferry town of Hou. Our homes are grouped around Odder, most sleeping six or more and nearly half eight or more, with a fireplace in most and a sauna in some. A light rail line, the Odder Line, links the town with Aarhus.
