About Pridraga
Pridraga is a spread-out village of about 1,350 people over some 25 square kilometres of Zadar County countryside, southeast of the little historic town of Novigrad. Novigrad sits in a narrow bay on the southern side of the Novigrad Sea, known for its fish and shellfish, and it has kept part of its old fortifications, including the Great Gate on the eastern rampart. History runs deep there: Mary, Hungarian and Croatian sovereign, and her mother were imprisoned in Novigrad in 1386, and Venice took the town in 1409. The homes are grouped close together; nearly all have a private pool, about half have a garden, and most sleep around six.
