Posedarje suits groups wanting a villa with a private pool on the Novigrad Sea, about half an hour's drive from Zadar. Many homes sleep eight or more. It is a quiet village rather than a resort, so evenings are low-key.
Posedarje is a village of around 1,300 people on the north-west shore of the Novigrad Sea, an inland sea up to 11 km long at the end of the Velebit Channel, entered through the narrow Novsko Ždrilo channel in front of Maslenica. The municipality has about 3,400 residents and includes Podgradina, Slivnica and Vinjerac. Two islets, Mali Školj and Veli Školj, lie off the village. The homes sit around the village, most with a private pool and many with a garden, and many sleep eight or more. Evenings are quiet and the off season quieter still, so for more restaurant choice plan a drive to Zadar.
