About Pians
Pians is a village of around 800 people at 856 metres, about 4.3 km west of Landeck, and it marks the start of the Paznaun valley. The valley runs southwest to the Bielerhöhe pass, with See, Kappl, Ischgl and Galtür climbing in that order. Just southwest of Pians the Arlberg railway crosses the Trisanna Bridge, which opened in 1884 and is 211 metres long. The homes here are close together in the village. They mostly sleep around six, with no sauna or private pool, and few have a garden.
