Vallandry suits ski groups wanting access to the whole Paradiski area, with Les Arcs and La Plagne linked by the Vanoise Express cable car. Nearly every home here has a sauna and a pool. The resort is up a mountain road from the valley, so the transfer adds to the journey.
Vallandry is an integrated resort at about 1,600 m, on the heights above the valley between Moûtiers and Bourg-Saint-Maurice. It was inaugurated in 1986, and together with Plan Peisey, at 1,650 m in the commune of Peisey-Nancroix, it makes up Peisey-Vallandry. Its pistes belong to the Les Arcs domain, and since 2003 the Vanoise Express has linked that to La Plagne, giving about 425 km of marked slopes in all. The homes sit together in one small group, and nearly all have a sauna and a pool. Peaks such as the Aiguille Rousse and the Roc du Grand Renard rise to the south.
