Les Arcs is a ski resort of four villages above Bourg-Saint-Maurice, with a funicular from the TGV station to Arc 1600. Homes filed under this name are scattered over a very wide area, some far from the resort, so check each home's location before assuming ski access.
Les Arcs takes its name from its villages: Arc 1600, the first built and nearest the station; Arc 1800, the largest; Arc 1950, the newest; and Arc 2000, the highest, opened in 1979. A free gondola joins Arc 1950 to Arc 2000, and the Vanoise Express cable car links the area to La Plagne as Paradiski. The homes listed under Les Arcs are not in one village, or even all in the mountains near it: they are spread over a very wide area. Many have a private pool and some a sauna. Check the map position and the distance to the lifts for the exact home. Group sizes range from small to very large.
