About Vesløs
Vesløs is a small village in Thisted municipality, on the western fringe of the old Hanherred district between Thisted and Fjerritslev. It is a former station town, and its inn has been an eatery since 1904, with open sandwiches and homemade desserts. The homes are spread around Vesløs rather than in the village itself, so check how far each one is from the inn if you want to walk there. Vejlerne, the largest bird sanctuary in Northern Europe, is close by, and cranes pass over it on migration. Evenings are very quiet: the inn is the obvious place for dinner out.
