Okrug Gornji suits families and couples who want a pool and sea access on Čiovo, with Trogir's old town across the bridge. It is a beach village, so evenings are mostly restaurants and taverns.
Okrug Gornji is a village on the western side of Čiovo, an island joined to Trogir by a bridge. It has a fishing harbour at the end of a beach, and little bays and pebble beaches run along the coast around it. New holiday homes and hotels have joined Trogir and Okrug Gornji into one continuous built-up area. Our homes sit close together in the village, mostly sleeping around four, with a good number having a pool and all with air conditioning. Evenings are restaurants and taverns serving Dalmatian dishes. You will want a car or a taxi for Trogir.

Boat trips from Trogir run to the nearby islands of Čiovo and Šolta, with coves and beaches to explore.
Fly to Split. The airport is about 6 km from Trogir, and Okrug Gornji is on Čiovo, across the bridge from Trogir's old town. The bus from the airport goes via Split and is slow, so a car or transfer is easier, especially with luggage.
Summer is the beach season here, and the wild coves of Okrug and the pebble beaches of Seget are what most people come for. In summer the Kamerlengo fortress in Trogir becomes a stage for concerts and other events, alongside the Trogir Cultural Summer programme. Check restaurants and boat trips before booking outside summer.
Pebble. Okrug has numerous pebble beaches, and the village has little bays and beaches around a fishing harbour rather than a long sandy strip.
Not far. Split airport is about 6 km from Trogir, and Okrug Gornji sits on Čiovo just over the bridge from Trogir's old town. A taxi or hire car is the simple option; the bus runs via Split and takes hours.

Usually, yes. Our homes cluster tightly in the village, and the coves around Okrug are reachable on foot or by bike through pine forest. Check each home's distance to a specific cove.
