About Vodice
Vodice is a resort town of about 8,600 people in a wide bay in Šibenik-Knin County. It was a village and trade crossroads until tourism took over in the second half of the 20th century. Our homes sit in and around the town, mostly houses and apartments for around five with two bedrooms, and many have a private pool or garden; nearly all have air conditioning. Beaches in town include the Blue Beach, with a shallow sea and natural shade, a pebble beach in the centre aimed at dog owners, and Hexagon on the Punta peninsula. Evenings in summer run to the CMC pop festival in June and Wednesday klapa concerts, the traditional Dalmatian singing.

Vodice villa holidays: questions answered
Is Vodice good for families?
Yes. The Blue Beach has a shallow sea and natural shade, many of our homes have a private pool, and nearly all are air-conditioned. Šibenik's fortresses and Krka National Park fill days away from the sand.
Is the beach in Vodice sand or pebble?
Pebble, at least in the centre: the dog-friendly beach there is pebble. Hexagon beach on the Punta peninsula is another town option, and the Blue Beach is known for its shallow sea and Blue Flag status.
Vodice or Šibenik for a villa stay?
Vodice for beach time, Šibenik for sights. Šibenik is 11 km south-east and has the UNESCO-listed St James cathedral and four fortresses, while Vodice has the resort beaches.
Which airport suits Vodice, Zadar or Split?
Zadar is closer at 48 km, against 60 km to Split. Split has more London routes, but the London routes to both are mostly seasonal, so check flight dates before booking.
Are dogs allowed on beaches in Vodice?
Yes, at one of them. The pebble beach in the centre of Vodice is aimed at dog owners and has parking. Other beaches may have their own rules, so check signs on arrival.
