Zeewolde village and the Wolderwijd shore
Zeewolde has nearly all of our Flevoland holiday homes. The village sits on the Wolderwijd, a long, sheltered lake between the polder and the old mainland. Woldstrand and the other beaches shelve gently, which suits small children, and the lake is popular for sailing, windsurfing and paddleboarding. The village has a marina, supermarkets and cafes. Schiphol is around 50 minutes to an hour by car.
Best for: Families who want shallow lake beaches and sailing
Not for you if: You want old canals and historic streets: Zeewolde is a modern village.
