About Seewis im Prättigau
Seewis im Prättigau sits on a terrace on the right side of the valley, at its entrance. The municipality has about 1,400 people, and German is the main language. The village was first mentioned in 1224, and the ruins of Fracstein castle are a Swiss heritage site of national significance. Seewis-Pardisla station is down on the valley floor, in the Schmitten-Pardisla part of the municipality. The homes are grouped closely in the village, mostly small, all with wifi and hardly any with a garden.
