Despite the Argentona label, the homes on this page are around Granollers, the capital of the Vallès Oriental, rather than in Argentona itself. Granollers is a city of about 65,000 on the Congost river, a tributary of the Besòs, and its emblem is La Porxada, a Renaissance building that served as a grain store. The city forms one built-up area with Canovelles and Les Franqueses del Vallès. The homes are grouped close together and are large: all have a pool, a garden and a fireplace, and most sleep eight or more. The toll-free C-60 dual carriageway links Granollers with Mataró.

Barcelona airport is about 40 minutes from Granollers by car. Rodalies trains run hourly from the airport to Granollers Centre in about an hour, but you will want a car for getting about between the homes and the shops.
