About Niechorze
Niechorze lies between the Baltic and the lake Liwia Łuża, about 4 km east of Rewal. It began as a small fishing village, and some 18th and 19th-century fishermen's huts survive, though others have made way for hotels. The lighthouse, built in 1866, stands on a cliff about 20 metres high and is the landmark, with a small park of lighthouse models nearby. The beach is the draw. The homes are grouped together, mostly small with a garden, and most sleep around two. Evenings are quiet and out of season the village is very small.
