Saint-Brevin-les-Pins is a seaside resort on the south bank of the Loire, facing Saint-Nazaire across the water at the estuary mouth. Many homes here sleep five or more and have a garden, though only a minority have a private pool. The bridge to Saint-Nazaire is free to cross.
Saint-Brevin-les-Pins grew as a seaside resort in the late nineteenth century, after pines were planted from 1860 to hold back dunes that had been creeping over the village; building of the Saint-Brevin-l'Océan resort began in 1882. The shore has a run of named beaches, including Mindin, Des Pins near the centre, L'Océan, Les Rochelets and L'Ermitage, between rocky headlands at Mindin in the north and Le Pointeau in the west. On the foreshore at the tip of Mindin stands the Serpent d'océan, a sea serpent skeleton sculpture there since 2012. The homes are spread along a few kilometres of the town, with a garden in over half of them, and the Saint-Nazaire bridge, free to cross, sits close by.

Nantes Atlantique is the nearest airport, about 50 minutes by road. Bus and train from the airport take around two hours, and the direct 317 bus takes over three, so a car makes most stays far easier.
Both. The town sits on the south bank of the Loire facing Saint-Nazaire, and its beaches run along the coast between the rocky headlands of Mindin, at the mouth of the estuary, and Le Pointeau to the west.
Yes. The Saint-Nazaire bridge is free to cross and open to cars, pedestrians and cyclists. It is 3,356 m long including the approach viaducts, so allow time for the crossing.
