About Paris

Paris is a stay built around the Métro and long walks. The homes here are spread across the city rather than sitting in one district, and they are small: most sleep two with a single bedroom, though a few sleep many more. Almost none has a garden or a pool, and about half have air conditioning. Check the exact address before booking, because the feel of the city changes street by street. Gare du Nord, where Eurostar arrives, is in the 10th arrondissement beside Gare de l'Est, so the first Métro ride of the trip is usually short.

Getting to Paris

Eurostar from London St Pancras takes about two and a half hours to Gare du Nord, with trains roughly hourly. Once in the city you do not need a car: Gare du Nord connects to Métro lines 4 and 5 and to RER B and D, and most journeys are on foot or underground.
