About Henne
Henne Strand is a resort village on the North Sea coast. Its main street is Strandvejen, and most of its shops and restaurants stay open all year. A wide sandy beach sits below dunes that rise to 25 m. Tennis courts, a swimming hall, minigolf, bike and horse hire and an international 18-hole golf course are in the village, and the original settlement, Henne Kirkeby, is about 4 km away. Many homes here sleep eight or more, the largest up to 14, and nearly all have a fireplace. Most have no pool, and some have a sauna.

Yes. It is a wide sandy beach with high dunes of up to 25 m behind it, and route 465 runs 14 km from the main road to a large beach car park.
Can you swim at Henne Strand?
On most of the beach, yes. A stretch of about 1,400 m at Kærgård has had a swimming ban for years because of contamination from old pharmaceutical waste, and signs mark it. Avoid walking barefoot there.
Henne Strand or Blåvand?
Blåvand has Blåvands Huk, the western tip of Denmark, and the Tirpitz Museum. Henne Strand has its own main street, golf course and shops open most of the year. Both are among Varde's broad white beaches.
Is Henne Strand good for large groups?
