Terrace furniture, barbecue. Very nice panoramic view of the countryside. Facilities: washing machine, cot for up to 2 year olds. Please note: only small pets accepted. Near the kitchen, small room with chimney and seating corner. This room was formally used by the farmers to eat in and socialize. Property Details: This farmhouse, recently renovated, is the oldest part of the estate. Some hunting frescos in the dining/living room prove its origin as an hunting hut although it has been a farmer house and a stable too. The date 1850 is probably when the house was converted from hunting lodge to farmhouse. There are also 2 apartments, one for the caretaker and one, seldom used, for the owners. Very old large working farm "Podere Valle di Sotto", renovated in 2004. 2 km from the centre of Volterra, 30 km from the centre of San Gimignano, 40 km from the centre of Pisa, in a quiet position on top of a hill, in the countryside. Private: garden, swimming pool (6 x 12 m, depth 120 - 200 cm, 15.05.-15.10.) with built-in steps. Garden furniture, barbecue. In the house: with TV, central heating, washing machine.
